Learning another language can be one of life's most rewarding and culturally fulfilling experiences. For hundreds of years, French has been the primary language of many trades -- politics, business, architecture, cuisine and love.

I work with individuals and small groups privately. I also run the French program at Emory University's Center for Lifelong Learning and at Life Enrichment Services. I also tutor high school students.
I design my courses to allow everyone, from the basic beginner to the avid conversationalist, a chance to improve their communication skills, conversation, reading, writing, and listening comprehension of the French language. Absorb French etiquette, traditions and culture while you study!
And feel free to email me directly with any questions about individual or group classes. Visit Emory's website for the latest information on my French classes at the Center for Lifelong Learning.

| "I wanted you to know that I have been very pleased to have been your student for French II and III. I always had the attitude that, even when I wasn't prepared (work, and all), that I would learn something that I didn't know. Worked every time." -- Dave Clower |

"I really enjoyed your class...last year I went on a self drive barge trip on the Marne canal with some friends. As usual, I was the only one who spoke French... It was great for me and I was more confident after your class. I had to talk to the lock keepers by radio to get help with broken locks and once I was able to convince a restaurant to open just for us when we were in a small village and there was not place to eat (my friends said they did not know what I was saying, but they understood the tone of my pleas). The woman who ran the restaurant was a lot of fun and I talked to the family and translated for the group. Thanks for your help."

| Since my family and I moved to Brussels, "...the French I learned with you has really helped...in reading signage and in doing some stumbling around here and there. I've been able to ask directions, opening/closing times, order in restaurants, etc. My family has been impressed and grateful." -- Sallie Honeychurch
